2. Travel information
For those people who need a visa, an invitation letter will be sent to you once your abstract is accepted. To apply for a visa, please contact the nearest Chinese visa authorities or travel agents in your country.

Shenzhen is located on the Pearl River Delta adjacent to Hong Kong. The two cities are interconnected with frequent daily itineraries through boat (approximately 30 minutes of travel), air, train, and buses. If you arrive from Hong Kong International Airport, you can take ferry directly from the airport to Shekou, Shenzhen, without going through the Hong Kong SAR immigration. Then you can take a taxi to the University Town of Shenzhen, costing about 50 Yuan. The taxi rate in Shenzhen is 2.4 Yuan/km. Please take licensed taxi with meter only. If you need to call a taxi by phone, the number is 8316 6666. From Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, it takes one hour by taxi to Tsinghua Shenzhen, costing 80-120 Yuan. If you arrive from Guangzhou, it is convenient to go to Shenzhen by train, about one hour.

By Air
Shenzhen is the main airport for tourists planning further travel in China, with water, land and air transport easily accessible. Well known as, it also is the fourth largest airport in China. At present, there are about 107 internal and international airlines opened, connecting Shenzhen and 80 other cities both home and abroad. The daily flights from such famous tourist cities of China as Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, Qingdao and Hangzhou, etc. can take you to Shenzhen easily. Daily international lines from London, Los Angeles, Vancouver and Paris via transfer Shanghai can be used. Flights from Manila, Bangkok, Singapore and Tokyo depart to Shenzhen directly every day. On Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, there is an international flight coming to Shenzhen from Kuala Lumpur. Finally, there are frequent flights between Shenzhen and Macau every day. Additionally, for visitors who travel between Hong Kong and Shenzhen, there is a convenient bus service available from the airport. By Train
Although there are two railway stations in Shenzhen, the Shenzhen Railway Station, also called Luohu Railway Station, has the most frequent trains departing to the other cities of China everyday, such as Beijing, Zhengzhou, Hankou, Wuchang, Nanchang, Jiujiang, Changsha, etc. It is also the most important traffic hub between China's mainland and HK. In Shenzhen, there are three passes opened to visitors who travel between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The Luohu Pass which is the neighbor of Shenzhen Railway Station is the most convenient one for you coming and going to Hong Kong. Additionally, the Huanggang Pass in Shenzhen connected to Luomazhou Pass in Hong Kong is another choice for you. By Long-distance Bus
About 30 long-distance bus stations operate out of Shenzhen, providing visitors with another convenient way to get to or leave the city. Three of these bus stations are: Shenzhen Bus Station (Yinhu Bus Station): It has the most long-distance bus lines. Buses departing to Guangxi, Hunan, Fujian, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Hubei, Anhui, Hainan and Sichuan provinces and the other cities of Guangdong Province are available here. Regular bus No.222 can take you to the station. Futian Bus Station: Located at Futian District of Shenzhen, it has buses to some cities of Guangdong and Guangxi provinces

By Sea
There are 8 passengers transport ports in Shenzhen. Among them, Shekou Port, located in the south part of Nanshan District in Shenzhen City is the most convenient one with four regular lines to and from Zhuhai, Macau, Hong Kong and Hong Kong International Airport, as well as some nonscheduled lines between Shenzhen City and islands around the city. 5. Sight-seeing
Shenzhen is one of the most attractive destinations for tourists in China. As a young and prosperous city, it has beautiful theme parks, featured city scenes, seaside sightseeing and shopping malls. A tour will be arranged to see Chinese Folk Culture Villages, where you can see the history and mysteries of the ethnic groups in China. The following are some other attractions.

Its 300,000-sqm park features replicas of more than 80 scenic and cultural wonders in China, including the mighty Great Wall, the Imperial Forbidden City, the ancient Terracotta Army, the legendary Shaolin Temple and the mysterious Potala Palace of Tibet.

Chinese Folk Culture Villages is right next to Splendid China. This folk culture park dazzles with the histories and mysteries of the ethnic groups in China. Scattering around the 180,000-sqm park are 24 villages built in 1:1 ratio, inhabited by ethnic people, who present their traditional arts, customs, languages and cuisines. Traditional culture performances are held there every day.

Occupying about 9 square kilometers, OCT East, the national ecological resort provides visitors with an opportunity to escape from the bustle of city life and return to the nature. Elaborately designed along the mountain and the sea, OCT East resort has three major theme parks: Knight Valley, Tea Stream Valley and Wind Valley. It has many culture travel functions like ecological tourism, vacation, outdoor sports etc., indicating the harmony relationship between human and the nature.
